The Mapusa police have taken action by registering a First Information Report (FIR) against Headmistress Roshny Sakhalkar of Government Primary School in Namoshi Guirim. The FIR is in response to allegations of assault against a female teacher, who claimed that the headmistress assaulted her over a personal issue.

According to the complaint, the headmistress is accused of twisting the hand of the complainant teacher and using offensive language towards her during the altercation. The teacher further asserted that the assault resulted in a fracture of her hand.

The FIR marks the initiation of a legal process against the headmistress, with an investigation likely to follow to determine the veracity of the claims and gather evidence related to the alleged assault.
