All casinos in Goa, including offshore ones, will halt their operations for eight hours starting from 8 a.m. on Monday, January 22, in observance of the consecration ceremony of the Shree Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
Shrinivas Nayak, the Director of the Majestic Pride group, mentioned that this decision was made as a mark of respect for Shree Ram. The casinos will be closed from 8 am to 4 pm, allowing staff time to pray and watch the live ceremony from Ayodhya.
