ISRO’s ‘Naughty Boy’ Rocket Prepares for Launch

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is set to launch a meteorological satellite this evening from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre.

The mission involves the use of the GSLV-F14, affectionately known as the “naughty boy” rocket. This marks the rocket’s 16th mission and its 10th flight with the indigenous cryogenic engine.

The primary goal is to place INSAT 3DS into a geosynchronous transfer orbit, enabling vital observations of Earth’s surface and the environment.
