Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant assured that the Opinion Poll Day, Asmitai Dis, will be celebrated as a state official function on January 16 regularly from 2025 onwards. This assurance came during a Private Member Resolution moved by Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao.
