The Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) has registered an FIR against Swayandipta Pal Chowdhury, the former Managing Director of Panaji Smart City, for allegedly misappropriating government funds, resulting in a loss of ₹82.87 lakh to the exchequer. The allegations pertain to his tenure as MD from April 1, 2018, to September 30, 2020, during which it is claimed that Chowdhury misused public funds. The ACB is currently investigating the matter.
