Mopa airport police have filed a case in response to an assault complaint by Gobinda Gochhayat, a native of Odisha.

Gochhayat reported that he, along with colleagues Santosh Salunke and Vijendra Singh, was assaulted by a group of 50-60 people with beer bottles, fists, and wooden sticks while heading to his rented room in Naibag.

The incident occurred after Gochhayat had assisted the police in filing a touting case against a taxi driver at Mopa Airport earlier in the day.
