Bicholim police have arrested a 25-year-old man, Dalvi from Satara, Maharashtra, for allegedly defrauding a woman from Goa out of ₹18.99 lakh. The arrest followed a complaint by Gawas, a Bicholim resident, who was tricked by Dalvi with promises of high returns for delivering goods. Realizing the scam, Gawas lodged a complaint, and the police tracked Dalvi through technical surveillance. Dalvi is also wanted in other cases, including one with Canacona police.
