The Congress party in Goa faced allegations of violating the flag code on Republic Day. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant criticized the Congress, stating that the party prioritizes the Gandhi family over national symbols.

The BJP in Goa claimed that the Congress flew its party flag above the National Tricolor at its Goa headquarters.

In response, Chief Minister Sawant accused the Congress of disrespecting the nation and placing the Gandhi family first, the party second, and the nation last.

Goa Pradesh Congress Committee President Amit Patkar was not available for immediate comments.
