Arnaldo Joseph Soares, 68, a Goa native with Canadian citizenship residing in Orda Waddo, Candolim, was found murdered early Sunday morning. An unidentified intruder entered Soares’s residence through the roof and fatally attacked him following a confrontation around 2:30 am. The motive, possibly linked to a property dispute, is under investigation by police. During the incident, Soares’s three relatives in another section of the house heard noises but were reassured by a response from his room, initially believing no cause for alarm.
