Old Goa police has lodged an FIR against individuals identified as Sunil Kumar and Anil Yadav for allegedly defrauding a Chimbel resident of Rs. 4.7 lakhs. The suspects posed as CBI inspectors from Delhi, accusing the victim of involvement in drug smuggling and human trafficking. Under coercion, the victim was forced to deposit the money. This incident prompted the authorities to take legal action against the accused for impersonation and fraud.
