Lihao Sheng and Yuting Huang secured the first gold medal for China at the Games, triumphing over South Korea’s Jihyeon Keum and Hajun Park with a score of 16-12 in the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team final. In the bronze-medal playoff, Kazakhstan’s Alexandra and Satpayev defeated Germany’s Anna and Ulbrich 17-5. The first medal of the Games was claimed in the shooting event.
