CM Sawant chaired a meeting at Mantralaya on monsoon preparedness with the State Disaster Management Authority. He assessed the functionality of control rooms at district and taluka levels, identified flood and landslide-prone areas, reviewed evacuation plans, and examined the desilting of drainages and water bodies.

Additionally, he evaluated the weather forecast and early warning systems, directing officials to expedite their preparedness efforts. He also urged the public to download the ‘Sachet App’ for timely updates and information.
