Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant had meeting with the Hon’ble Union Minister for Environment, Forests & Climate Change, Shri Bhupendra Yadav. The meeting, attended by cabinet colleague Shri Aleixo A. Sequeira and key officials from the Union and State administration, delved into various crucial matters shaping the state’s development.

Among the key topics of discussion were the regulation of sand mining activities, the draft notification concerning the Western Ghats, and proposed rectifications to the Coastal Zone Management Plan (CZMP) 2011. 

Chief Minister Sawant thanked Hon’ble Minister Shri Bhupendra Yadav for his unwavering support and collaborative efforts in addressing issues vital to Goa’s progress. The meeting reflects a commitment to comprehensive governance and sustainable development in the state.
