In a recent event, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant expressed concern over the limited participation of youth in Konkani research and literature despite numerous opportunities available. He addressed the 37th Rajbhasha Diwas (Official Language Day) organized by Goa Konkani Akademi at Durbar Hall, Raj Bhavan in Dona Paula. 

During the event, CM Sawant presented Konkani Literature and Language Service Awards for the years 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. His emphasis on encouraging the youth to actively engage in Konkani research and literature reflects a broader goal of promoting regional development and preserving the cultural richness of the Konkan region.
