The Sessions Court in Panjim has approved conditional bail for Naresh Ganthula and Bandi Rajashekar, both hailing from Telangana. The individuals were arrested in connection with a tragic accident that resulted in the loss of two lives in Mandrem last month.

22-year-old Deep Naik and his cousin, 19-year-old Saheel Naik, lost their lives after a fatal collision. Riding a two-wheeler, the cousins’ lives were cut short when the door of a negligently opened rent-a-car struck them.

The impact of the collision resulted in both riders falling onto the road. The rider, Saheel, sustained grievous injuries, while the pillion rider, Deep, tragically came under the wheels of a moving truck. Both victims were swiftly taken to the Community Health Centre, where the pillion rider was declared dead by the attending doctor.
