The Congress party has announced that party Chief Mallikarjun Kharge, his predecessor Sonia Gandhi, and Lok Sabha floor leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury have declined the invitation to attend the inauguration of the Ram Mandir on January 22. The party cited concerns that the incomplete temple is being inaugurated for electoral gain.
