The three-member committee appointed by the State government to investigate the alleged fraud in the renovation of the iconic Kala Academy has yet to initiate its inquiry, raising concerns that it might be a mere eyewash. 

Nearly a year has passed since the committee was formed to probe the alleged Rs 49 crore scam related to the renovation work, which was reportedly carried out without a tender.

Two out of the three committee members have reportedly approached the government, expressing their concern that no meetings have been convened thus far.
