Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal Granted Interim Bail in Liquor Policy Case Until June 1

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal Granted Interim Bail in Liquor Policy Case Until June 1

The Supreme Court has granted interim bail to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal until June 1 in the money laundering case filed against him by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) regarding the Delhi excise policy. Kejriwal, who has been in Tihar jail since his arrest by the ED on March 21, faced opposition from the ED regarding the suggestion of interim bail to campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The case revolves around allegations of money laundering related to the implementation of the Delhi excise policy. Kejriwal’s bail allows for his release pending further legal proceedings.
