A resident of Dhavali, Ponda, was cheated out of Rs 75,000 by a woman he befriended via a dating app. The two decided to meet in person, but after their meeting, the woman, who is from Farmagudi, demanded money from him. She threatened and blackmailed him, stating she would file a police complaint if he failed to pay. Authorities are investigating the incident.
