Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced three new employment-linked incentive schemes in the Union Budget for FY 2024-25 to boost job creation. Scheme A will offer first-time employees a month’s wage up to Rs 15,000. Scheme B will provide incentives for additional manufacturing jobs linked to EPFO contributions. Scheme C will reimburse employers up to Rs 3,000 per month for EPFO contributions on new hires, supporting the creation of up to 5 million jobs.
