The Goa Association of Resident Doctors (GARD) has initiated a strike to protest the brutal rape and murder of a doctor at a Kolkata hospital. While emergency services at Goa Medical College (GMC) will continue to operate to ensure patient care, outpatient department (OPD) services will be significantly reduced. Dr. Shivanand M. Bandekar confirmed that the strike is in response to the tragic incident, aiming to raise awareness and demand justice for the victim.
