Law Minister Aleixo Sequeira informed the House about a significant shortage of 18 judges in Goa’s courts, including District Courts and Judicial Magistrate First Class. The highest shortage is in Margao’s Civil and Criminal Courts with four judges needed. Other affected courts include the District and Sessions Court, North and South Goa, and various Civil and Criminal Courts in Panaji, Mapusa, Ponda, Bicholim, Valpoi, Vasco, and Sanguem.
