The Goa government has revised minimum land rates for popular beach destinations like Calangute, Candolim, Anjuna, and Siolim, setting rates at Rs 25,000 per m² for stamp duty calculations. Rates for Pernem and Bardez talukas have more than doubled for 2024-25. Plots up to 1000 m² in S1 zones will follow these rates, while those up to 500 m² in zones S1-S4 will see a 30% reduction. Land is classified into urban, developing, rural, and coastal categories, with rates ranging from Rs 4,000 to Rs 25,000 in Bardez and Rs 1,500 to Rs 15,000 in Pernem.
