Head Coach Manolo Marquez aims to extend strong unbeaten run before International Break

In the latest press conference ahead of their Indian Super League encounter against Northeast United, FC Goa’s Head Coach, Manolo Marquez, expressed the team’s ambition to finish the first half of the season on a high note before the players head into the international break from club football. Currently at the top of the table with 23 points from their first 9 games, FC Goa is in excellent form.The game will take place on 29 December at the Indira Gandhi International Stadium in Guwahati at 8 pm.

However, Coach Marquez voiced concerns about the injury to star performer Victor Rodriguez, which has ruled him out for the season. He acknowledged Rodriguez as one of the best players in the league. When asked about potential activity in the upcoming transfer window, Marquez stated his satisfaction with the current squad. Nevertheless, he hinted that the club might explore opportunities if they arise.

In addition to discussing his team, Marquez praised the coaching staff and players of Northeast United, noting their remarkable improvement over the past year. As FC Goa aims to continue its success on the field, the coach recognizes the strength and development of their upcoming opponents.
