Health Minister Vishwajit Rane announced that the file to fill all contractual posts at the South Goa District Hospital (SDGH) has been moved and will be presented before the state cabinet. Rane assured that the government will file an affidavit in court within 3-4 months, indicating the time frame for initiating SDGH. In response, Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai questioned the utility of medicines if SDGH is not fully functional, expressing the expectation that the government will start SDGH in full swing very soon.
