The High Court has directed the former Sarpanch of VP Arambol, Bernad Fernandes, to provide a timeline on January 29 for the demolition of his two illegal structures in the No Development Zone (NDZ). Fernandes claims that both structures were erected by his father and uncle. 

The Secretary of VP Arambol has submitted a compliance report, indicating that the structures have been sealed. GCZMA reports sealing 49 out of 64 illegal structures in NDZ, with show cause notices to be issued to the remaining within 15 days. The court instructs authorities not to de-seal sealed structures without court permission.
