In a major turn of events, the death of 55-year-old Devidas Konadkar, initially thought to be a hit-and-run case in Pernem, has taken a grim twist. Members of the Shiv Warriors United Taxi Brothers from Mopa claim it was a premeditated murder. According to their account, the accused not only hit Konadkar with their goods carrier but also viciously attacked him, resulting in the cutting off of one of his ears and leaving him fatally wounded. After an extensive search in the dense forest, the taxi operators managed to apprehend the accused, who have since been handed over to the police.
