The Goa government has informed the High Court that specialized units such as an ICU and Trauma Center at the South Goa District Hospital in Margao will be operational by the end of May.Â
Necessary equipment has been procured, and the process of appointing staff on a contract basis is underway. The High Court has disposed of the petition filed by Fatorda MLA Vijay Sardesai after accepting the government’s statement.
