ISRO’s SSLV-D3 Successfully Launched, Aims to Demonstrate Reliable Performance and Place Satellites in Orbit

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) successfully launched the third developmental flight of the Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV-D3) from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh, at 9:17 am on Friday. The mission’s primary objectives are to demonstrate the reliable and consistent performance of the SSLV vehicle systems and to successfully place the EOS-08 satellite and SR-0 DEMOSAT into a 475 km circular orbit. This mission marks another significant step in ISRO’s efforts to enhance its satellite launch capabilities.
