“A tragic incident unfolded late last night in Patna as a youth leader Saurabh Kumar affiliated with Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal-United (JDU) was fatally shot while returning from a wedding function.
According to Police report Saurabh sustained two gunshot wounds to the head by assailants riding motorcycles. His companion, Munmum Kumar, also suffered injuries in the attack, having been hit three times. Rushed to a nearby hospital, Saurabh was pronounced dead upon arrival, while Munmun remains hospitalized in critical condition.”
