Leader of Opposition, Yuri Alemao, has written to Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant urging the effective implementation of Goa Cultural Policy 2007 and Goa Sports Policy 2009. Alemao emphasized the need for job reservations for artists and the provision of grace marks for culturally talented students. In the letter, Alemao stated that these policies were initiated by the Congress Government to promote local talent in art, culture, and sports. He urged the government to fulfill its commitment to artists and sportspersons and called for the implementation of these policies, which have been lacking since 2012.
