The High Court has ordered the removal of approximately 80 stalls from Mangeshi. To make room, the village council has given a deadline of 7 days to stall owners. The council has decided to implement the court’s order.
The local council issued a notice on April 20 to the stall owners near Mangeshi Temple, giving them a 7-day deadline. Previously, on October 20, the council had issued a ‘show cause’ notice. Only 7 stall owners responded. Following the court’s order, a resolution will be passed at the council meeting on April 16. The deadline given to the stall owners will end on Friday.
