Mardol police thwarted an abduction attempt by arresting seven individuals involved in the kidnapping of two women, Manju and Sonam, along with Manju’s current husband, Mahendra Yadav, from Kundaim, Goa. The prime accused, Manoj Kumar Yadav and Mahipal Meharchand from Haryana, allegedly abducted their estranged wives. Following a complaint from a relative, police tracked the suspects using mobile phone signals and, with the help of Ratnagiri police, intercepted their vehicle in Sangameshwar, Maharashtra. Five accomplices were also detained, and the car used in the crime was seized.
