In a significant development related to the 2008 Panaji PS (Police Station) Attack case, the Margao Special Court has granted permission to Babush Monserrate to travel to the United States for medical treatment. Babush Monserrate, a key figure in Goan politics, has been allowed by the court to seek medical care in the US. 

Additionally, the court has granted permission for Jennifer Monserrate, presumably his spouse, to obtain a non-immigrant visa to accompany him during his treatment abroad.
