Mining Companies Seek Approval to Handle Low-Grade Iron Ore in Goa: CM Sawant

Fifteen mining companies in Goa have applied to the state government for permission to handle low-grade iron ore currently stored in dumps across the region. 

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant confirmed that the allotments for this task will follow the newly implemented Dump Handling Policy. The companies submitted their applications to the Directorate of Mines and Geology (DMG) following the recent notification of the policy.
