Mayor Rohit has voiced concerns over the Miramar foot overbridge, warning of its potential collapse and emphasizing the danger it poses, especially when children are underneath. In response, he has proposed its removal to mitigate the risk of any accidents.

The Panaji City Corporation (CCP) has once again asked the Goa Engineering College (GEC) in Farmagudi, Ponda, to check the safety of the old footbridge near Sharda Mandir School on Jack Sequeira Road in Miramar. The footbridge is in bad condition because it’s old and rusty, and the CCP wants to make sure it’s safe for people to use.
