In Dhargal, a mother and son have been accused of fraudulently selling the same piece of land twice. Vijaya and Devendra Prabhudesai allegedly sold a plot to Prakashrao Naik from Mapusa for 55 lakhs in 2017, despite having already sold it to Santosh Dahiya from Delhi in 2012. Naik filed a complaint, and the Pernem police have registered a case against the duo.
