Calling the Bhoma road widening issue “sensitive” due to its impact on local temples and homes, South Goa MP Viriato Fernandes assured villagers that he would raise their concerns with Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari. During a meeting attended by Congress and AAP leaders, Fernandes pledged to advocate for a bypass road instead of widening the existing one. Village leader Sanjay Naik highlighted the strong opposition from residents, criticizing the local MLA and state government for failing to communicate their concerns to Gadkari.
