The Anti-Narcotics Cell has apprehended Innocent Anaemem (56), a Nigerian individual with a history of criminal activity, for his alleged involvement in the possession of cocaine, ecstasy, and charas valued at Rs 74.75 lakh.
Anaemem had previously been linked to a 2013 incident on the Porvorim highway, and his recent arrest highlights ongoing efforts to combat drug-related crimes in the area.
