A total of 33,442 artisans from Goa have enrolled in the PM Vishwakarma Scheme. Among them, 18,344 are tailors, and 7,000 are garland makers. The remaining registrants belong to various categories, including blacksmiths, carpenters, potters, weavers, sculptors, and traditional artisans. 

Launched on September 17, 2023, by the Prime Minister, the PM Vishwakarma Scheme is a Central Sector Scheme designed to offer comprehensive support to artisans and craftspeople who rely on manual skills and tools.
