KTCL has announced a significant initiative to enhance transportation services within Panaji city by introducing electric buses, thereby replacing the current private bus services.This modernized fleet will include electric buses, mini diesel buses, medical buses, and electrical buggies, aligning with the city’s Smart City Mission objectives. The initiative aims to replace the existing private buses in Panaji with a more sustainable and technologically advanced public transport system.Emphasizing the commitment to sustainable practices, Sanjay Ghate stated that these retired buses would be repurposed to facilitate student transportation.
