Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) for the successful test flight of the Agni-5 missile, which included Multiple Independently Targetable Re-entry Vehicle (MIRV) technology. 

This technology enables the warhead to split into multiple re-entry vehicles, enhancing precision in targeting, marking a milestone achievement for the country’s indigenous missile development program.
