Prathamesh Gawade, a 22-year-old police constable, allegedly took his own life by jumping from the new Zuari bridge after recording a two-minute video message naming three individuals he accused of causing him severe mental distress. Gawade claimed that his female friend, a fellow female constable, and her brother had subjected him to psychological torture and threats over a dispute with his female friend. In the video, he apologized to his parents for his decision. This message, shared on a messaging app, has since gone viral and is being reviewed by police as part of their investigation.
