Late on Wednesday evening, the idol of Ram Lalla reached the Ayodhya temple and was hoisted using a crane for placement in the sanctum sanctorum, where it will be installed before the ‘Pran Pratistha’ ceremony.

The black stone idol, crafted by Mysuru sculptor Arun Yogiraj and weighing approximately 150-200 kg, was lifted from the accompanying truck during an evening procession. The procession briefly halted at the Hanumangarhi temple in Ayodhya. An image later revealed the idol being positioned inside the sanctum sanctorum, with workers overseeing the process.

A special puja preceded the idol’s placement. Shri Ram Mandir Construction Committee chairperson Nripendra Mishra stated that the installation in the sanctum sanctorum is expected on Thursday. This event occurred on the second day of the weeklong rituals leading up to Monday’s Pran Pratishtha ceremony.
