A tragic incident occurred in Kundaim where a retaining wall supporting improvised shanties collapsed, resulting in the deaths of three individuals. The deceased have been identified as Dilip Yadav, 37, Mukesh Kumar Singh, 38, and Trimal Nayak, 47. Ankit Kumar Yadav sustained injuries in the collapse and is receiving medical treatment.
The collapse is attributed to the continuous rains, which loosened the mud and compromised the wall’s stability.
