A 38-year-old worker from Apeval-Priol was injured after receiving an electric shock while repairing a roadside transformer in Dhavali-Ponda.

This incident marks the second such accident within days, raising concerns about safety measures for electrical work. The worker, Upendra Naik, was promptly taken to the district hospital in Margao for treatment, where his condition improved by the evening.
