Two serial killers, Chandrakant Talwar and Cyron Rodrigues, have been sentenced to life imprisonment by the Goa Children’s Court, Panjim, for the murder of a minor girl in October 2009. Talwar, from St Inez, Panjim, and Rodrigues, from Chimbel, were arrested by the Verna police for the murder of the 16-year-old girl from Taleigao, whose body was dumped on Verna hillock. The duo has also been accused of murdering three other women and were already serving life sentences, granted in 2016 by the additional district sessions court at Mapusa, for two of the murder cases.
