The Cyber Crime police have cracked a fake police extortion case and arrested Vivek Gautam, a resident of Siolim. Vivek and his associate, Bouncer Nikil Mane, allegedly cheated a complainant out of Rs 45 lakh by impersonating officials from TRAI and ED in April this year.
