Following a controversy in the last assembly session over wearing black outfits, the Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar has directed that they should not be worn in the Assembly House. Leaders of various Opposition parties in the INDIA alliance have decided to wear black dresses on Thursday to protest the treasury bench’s refusal to discuss Manipur and initiate a no-confidence motion debate.
