In Bhatwadi, Bicholim, a tragic drowning incident occurred when Mohit Kashyap, a resident of St Inez, Panaji, perished in a water-filled laterite stone quarry.
Kashyap, along with some friends, went swimming in the quarry. Fortunately, two others who were with him were successfully rescued from the mine.
